Dmitriy Bobrovnikov

Dmitriy joined Ring as Chief Innovation Officer in August 2025. In addition to his role at Ring, Dmitriy serves as Principal at Flagship Pioneering where he and his colleagues explore the frontiers of biology in order to originate and grow new companies. Dmitriy joined Ring when it acquired a platform technology that he co-founded at Flagship focused on viral capsid mediated delivery beyond gene therapy. Dmitriy joined Ring after the acquisition to oversee the merger of the two platforms and to grow the technology to its next stages.

Dmitriy received his BS in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Oregon State University and his PhD in Molecular Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
